The year 1066 in England is commonly known as the year of the Battle of Hastings. It was the battle that ended the Anglo-Saxon rule in England and opened the path for a new kingdom, a Norman kingdom, led by William The Conqueror. History though is cruel - it remember the victors. What happened though to King Harold? The Bayeux Tapestry depicts King Harold as famously being shot in the eye by an arrow. A fatal wound indeed. Where though, was he buried? This is where the mystery begins...did he even die at this famous battle?
